What You Need to Do to Combat Painful Acne

When acne is too painful to bear, you want to eliminate it as soon as possible. The problem is that most people do it wrong. If you feel painful acne in your face, what should you do? Should you apply facial treatment right away? This is not a good solution. Whatever acne solution that you'll apply to your painful acne, it will make it bigger. That's why you shouldn't do it. I'm speaking from experience.





If you have painful acne growing under your skin, then the first thing that you need to do is to be aware of your own thinking. Most people will have immediate panic attack when they feel painful acne and see big red pimple on their face. You should refrain from having panic attack because it won't help you in any way. If you can't control your mind, then you'll likely unable to control your acne. The key to control acne lies in the calm mind.
So, the first thing is to keep your mind calm and watch the symptoms. Don't pick your acne. Picking or scratching your acne area will only aggravate the symptom. Though I know that there is strong inclination to touch and pick that pimple, you shouldn't do it. Remember to keep calm. If you keep calm, you can refrain from scratching or picking your acne.

Then, you should wash your face with plain water. Wash it till you can't feel any oil in your face. After washing your face, rub your face with clean cloth and let it dry. You should do this because if you keep oil accumulation in your facial surface, you are risking your acne growing bigger. Remember that you are not allowed to touch your face in any way.

Once you feel freshness and cleanliness in your face, you can rest. Yes, you have to keep your body relaxed and rest for a while. It is better if you lie down for at least 1 hour or go to sleep. I highly recommend this step. Going to sleep will aid your healing process from within. And once you wake up from sleep, you will feel much better.

The last thing is to eat nourishing foods only. Once you wake up from sleep, your stomach will be empty and you want to eat something. Wait for a while here. You can't eat anything. You have to eat nourishing foods to lessen the symptom of your painful acne. Refrain from eating meat, egg, fish, milk, and soy products. Focus on eating fresh fruits and vegetables, juices, smoothies, and salad. I recommend eating mangoes, cucumber, green veggies, apples, watermelon, and almonds. They're good for your skin.
